In order to offer you organic and natural cosmetics that respect your skin and the environment, Laboratoire Najjar manufactures products according to strict standards. The raw materials, the production process and the formulas of our cosmetics are subject to rigorous specifications established by our certification body, Ecocert Greenlife.

The latter carefully controls each stage, from organic farming to the finished product. Our production sites are audited several times a year, including during unannounced checks, in order to guarantee compliance with these requirements. Each audit ensures that the requirements of the organic standard are respected, thus guaranteeing the conformity and quality of the products before issuing the certificate. Thanks to these audits, our products obtain the organic labels essential for their authentication.

Ecocert Greenlife oversees the entire process, from processing to labeling and packaging, including production, storage, distribution and import.

The organic and natural cosmetics markets now benefit from a single label, with specifications common to the European Union, facilitating the identification of certified products for consumers. The Cosmébio label and the Ecocert Greenlife certification are visible proof of our commitment.

In addition, Najjar Laboratory strives to offer short and simple formulas, with quality organic ingredients. This commitment also extends to our packaging, which we choose to be recyclable and without over-packaging to minimize our environmental impact.

Rigorous analyses

European cosmetics regulations

The regulation of cosmetic products has been unified at the European level in order to facilitate intra-community trade. As a French company, all of our products comply with this legislation; Aleppo soap is distributed from France in compliance with European regulations. Laboratoire Najjar controls its entire production, from the cultivation of raw materials to the finished product.

We first carry out physicochemical analyses of the raw products: olive oil and laurel berry oil. Permanent checks are then carried out during each soap production: physicochemical and organoleptic aspects, aging test, etc. We contact external laboratories to check each of our finished products before they are placed on the market: dermatological tests and systematic microbiological analyses for cosmetics and biodegradability tests for detergents, stability tests, etc.
